What GPL means for you

Our themes are licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later (GPL v2+). In practical terms, this gives you four freedoms:

• Use: Install and use the theme on as many WordPress sites as you want — your own sites or your clients’ sites.
• Study: Read and understand how the theme works. All source code is open.
• Modify: Edit, customize, fork or extend the theme for any purpose.
• Redistribute: Share your modified version under the same GPL license.

What’s included in your purchase

When you buy a theme from HDNETRO, you receive:

• The theme source code (ZIP file) under GPL v2+
• Demo content + documentation
• Lifetime updates through your customer account
• One year of priority email support (renewable at 50% after year one)

Bundled assets (images, fonts, scripts)

Some themes ship with images, icons or fonts whose license differs from GPL. These third-party assets are clearly listed in each theme’s README.md file, along with their original license (typically Creative Commons, SIL OFL or MIT). You are free to replace any such asset; the GPL applies to all PHP, JS and CSS code we authored.

Trademark

The HDNETRO name and logo are trademarks of HDNETRO · Premium WordPress Themes. The GPL grants you software freedom but not the right to use our name or logo to promote forks or derivative products.

WordPress.org compatibility

HDNETRO themes follow the WordPress Theme Review Team standards. You may submit a HDNETRO theme to the WordPress.org repository — with the understanding that WordPress.org will distribute it for free, which is a feature of GPL, not a bug.
